My family and I recently stayed at Gasthof Sauerwald in Bestwig, surrounded by the Amsberger Wald Nature Park. The modern rooms with private bathrooms were cozy and inviting, offering a peaceful retreat for our family. We enjoyed the variety of international dishes served at the restaurant, catering to different tastes. The hotel's proximity to Aqua Olsberg thermal baths and Erzbergwerk visitors' mine in Ramsbeck provided us with exciting nearby attractions to explore. After a restful night on the comfortable beds, we indulged in an excellent breakfast spread, setting a perfect start for our day. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the friendly and helpful staff, made our stay truly memorable. Whether relaxing in the well-heated rooms or strolling around the old German charm of the property, Gasthof Sauerwald offered an authentic Bavarian experience. We appreciated the free parking onsite and the convenience of being just a short drive from the A46 motorway.
